• February 2012 - The Stategic Research Fund of the Heinrich-Heine Universität Düsseldorf decided to support the project "Stability of intrinsic colloidal quasicrystals".
• March 2011 - Dr. Michael Schmiedeberg received an Emmy-Noether fellowship from the DFG. The Junior Research Group on "structure and dynamics of colloidal particles on incommensurate substrates" will begin its work in July 2011 (see also press release of the Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf from March 24^th, 2011↗[in German]).
