Workshop "Bridging the Scales in Glasses II" Dresden, Germany, October 21-23, 2013

the workshop "Bridging the Scales in Glasses II" will take place in about 6 weeks at the IFW in Dresden. We would like to remind you that the deadline for submission of abstracts is September 15, 2013.
The workshop will be on the structure and dynamics of glasses with a special focus on the microscopic mechanisms of macroscopic processes such as diffusive transport, fracture, shear-banding, and phase-separation.

Scientists from physics, chemistry and engineering are invited to submit an abstract to horbach@thphy.uni-duesseldorf.de.
The workshop fee for regular participants is 50 EUR and can be paid in cash at the conference.
